CONFIRMATION NATION INC.
Preparing Young Adults for Life Beyond Survival.
Potential should never be determined by the circumstances someone was born into or the obstacles they have faced. Confirmation Nation Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit preparing at-risk young adults for employment, personal responsibility, and independent living through structured readiness training.
A Future Should Be Built, Not Left to Chance.
For young adults transitioning out of foster care, group homes, and other unstable environments, adulthood can arrive long before preparation does.
Expectations increase. Support systems disappear. Decisions carry greater consequences. Yet many young people are expected to navigate employment, finances, relationships, and responsibility without the guidance or practical preparation those demands require.
Confirmation Nation exists to help close that preparation gap.
We believe lasting change requires more than encouragement. It requires structure, consistent expectations, practical knowledge, and people willing to invest in another person's growth.
Our purpose is not to rescue young adults from responsibility. It is to help equip them to carry it.
OUR FIRST INITIATIVE
14 Days. Practical Skills. A Foundation for What Comes Next.
Our first initiative is a structured 14-Day Employment Readiness Program designed for at-risk young adults, including foster youth transitioning into adulthood.
Through guided instruction, written exercises, practical application, and daily accountability, participants will be challenged to develop the habits and skills needed to pursue employment and greater independence.
The curriculum addresses time management, communication, work ethic, financial basics, interview preparation, personal responsibility, and consistency.
This is not a promise of employment or an overnight transformation. It is an opportunity to practice the behaviors and decisions that support long-term progress.
Our first pilot is in development. Participant enrollment has not yet opened.
Encouragement Opens the Door. Accountability Builds the Foundation.
We believe people deserve both compassion and honest expectations. Our approach combines practical instruction with personal accountability because lasting progress requires more than knowing what to do. It requires learning to do it consistently.
Structure
Clear expectations, scheduled instruction, and consistent routines help participants practice the discipline required in professional and everyday environments.
Ownership
Participants are encouraged to recognize the connection between their choices, responsibilities, and future opportunities.
Application
Lessons move beyond conversation into reflection, written exercises, practical scenarios, and measurable participation.
A MISSION ROOTED IN EXPERIENCE
Restoration Is More Than a Message. It's a Responsibility.
Confirmation Nation was founded by Derick Blakes, an author, father, and advocate for restoration whose understanding of instability and personal responsibility is rooted in lived experience.
Having experienced the challenges of growing up without consistent family stability, Derick understands that surviving difficult circumstances and being prepared to build a stable future are two different things.
His vision for Confirmation Nation is shaped by a conviction that experience should become service, faith should be demonstrated through action, and the next generation deserves preparation rather than empty promises.
The organization is being built around a straightforward commitment: meet young adults with dignity, establish clear expectations, and help them develop practical tools for the responsibilities ahead.
HELP TURN PREPARATION INTO OPPORTUNITY
The Curriculum Is Prepared. The Next Step Is Bringing It to Life.
A meaningful program requires more than a lesson plan. It requires a place to teach, instructional resources, operational support, and community partners willing to help create an environment where young adults can learn and grow.
Confirmation Nation is preparing for its first pilot of the 14-Day Employment Readiness Program.
Your support can help us move from preparation to implementation by building the practical foundation needed to welcome our first participants.
We are not asking you to fund promises of guaranteed outcomes. We are inviting you to help establish a program built on clear expectations, practical instruction, and accountable leadership.
One Program Is the Beginning, Not the Entire Vision.
Our immediate priority is launching and evaluating our employment readiness program. Over time, we envision additional initiatives addressing mentorship, family restoration, community support, and pathways toward greater stability.
Those possibilities belong to the future. Our responsibility today is to establish the first program with integrity.
